Growing our small business in Boulder County has been an incredible experience due to the tremendous amount of support from the community. We first reached out to the Longmont Economic Development Partnership (LEDP) in early 2017 not knowing what to expect. We walked away from our first meeting with a list of to-do’s and unending support from LEDP as well as the Boulder Small Business Development Center (SBDC). While we worked away at checking off the list of essentials, both the LEDP and SBDC checked in regularly to be sure we were on our way. They also connected us with key people and organizations in the industry and made sure we knew about upcoming classes and events to enhance our business. One such event is Longmont Startup Week (July 24 – 28) and we are super excited to check out the week of events and meet other entrepreneurs in our community. To promote Startup Week a number of local businesses, volunteers and organizers were interviewed by Kim Castle, owner of Lifelicious. Plains to Peaks was fortunate to get the opportunity to be amongst those interviewed. Hope to see you at Longmont Startup Week!
